After a presentation of the estate, the vineyard and the history of the Château in the Cour d'Honneur, we will take you into our 8 hectares of underground cellars to discover unusual places. A unique experience in the midst of some 700,000 aging bottles. The visit finish with a commented tasting of 3 wines.

The classic Tour ends with a tasting of 3 wines in the illuminated cellars. A magical place entirely carved out of the rock for tasting, with our natural spring running through it.

After the guided Tour of our underground cellars, we welcome you to the Armories Room for a sensory experience. Sitting in front of 4 black glasses, you will surprise yourself far from prejudices. Only your olfactory and gustatory sensations will guide you. Among the 4 wines tasted, the 3 colours will be present.

The classical visit of the cellars finish with a 3 wines tasting, after which we will give you a very gourmet board composed mainly of cold meats, cheeses and special breads : macaroons, cannelés and fruits will finish your meal, which will of course be accompanied by a glass of wine from Château de La Rivière Sit in the heart of the castle and enjoy the stunning panorama!

We take you on a tour of our unmissable underground cellars with a guide who will focus solely on your questions. We will answer all your questions about the history of the château, the cellars, the work and monitoring of the vines, the secret of maturing in oak barrels and the magic of ageing wines. The visit ends with a commented 3 wines tasting.

OLD VINTAGES TASTING WORKSHOP
After a guided tour of our underground cellars, we offer you a journey through the vintages.
By immersing ourselves in the climate of the time and by understanding the magic of ageing, we will decipher these wines that have been sleeping for several decades.
Whether you are an enthusiast or an amateur, we invite you to (re)discover 4 of the following vintages as desired : 1988, 1997, 1998 and 1999 of Château de La Rivière

ANIMATION FOR YOUNG AND OLD
Come and learn at the Château de La Rivière through an animation that will appeal to your olfactory memory.
A display will be at your disposal (in the shop) with different aromas and scents. This is a fun activity for young and old alike. Each person will have to use his or her nose and memory to solve this challenge.
