89 – 91 / 100

Voici son commentaire :

« A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc brought up in 50% new oak, the 2017 Château de La Rivière is another inky-colored effort made with the help of consultant Claude Gros. Blueberries, violets, flowers, and some spicy wood all emerge from this fresh, elegant, silky red that has fine tannin, a kiss of minerality, and a fruit-filled, lengthy finish. It’s another serious overachiever from an appellation that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.«
