A defensive fortress on the fringes of Charlemagne's empire, under English rule, an object of feudalism, alliances and vassalage, the Château de La Rivière is a magnificent property overlooking the Dordogne valley and the eponymous river.
Perched on the top oh the hill of the Fronsac appellation, this vast 68-hectare vineyard produces red (Fronsac), white and rosé (Bordeaux) wines on clay-limestone plots on the plateau and clay-limestone slopes,
Stored in exceptional conditions (13°C, 100% humidity and total darkness), in our underground cellars from the moment they are bottled until they are sold. These cellars were dug by men in the 19ᵉ century, represent 8 hectares, or 25 km of galleries.
Visit of the underground cellars, Escape Game, Bed and Breakfast, Arts Festival in summer, Yoga, Pu'er Tea tasting...
A great way to discover the region through our castle and its various activities.
